1 large box old-fashion oats
1 large jar wheat germ (I like to use the extra large jar)
1 package coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk
about 1 cup honey (if you do not like honey use 2 cans sweetened condensed milk)
chopped almonds (optional)
sun flower seeds (optional)
raisins (optional; add after cooking)
Mix together in a very large bowl. Put 1/4 of mixture in a 13 X 9 inch baking dish and cook in a 300 degree oven for 15 minutes; stir; cook 15 minutes longer; stir; cook 10 minutes longer. Pour out cooked mixture onto two sheets of wax paper that over lap to cool. Continue cooking the rest of the mixture using about the same amount each time. Freezes well.
