New Orleans Franks

Temperature: simmer
1 cup uncooked rice
1 pound franks
1 tablespoon salad oil
1 cup tomato paste
1 1/4 cup water
1 package or 3 tablespoons seasoning mix
1 (15ounce) can kidney beans. Drained and rinsed.
Cook rice. Cut each frank in fourths crosswise. Brown in hot oil in
skillet. Stir in tomato paste, water and mix. Add beans. Bring to
boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes. Serve over cooked
rice. Serves 6.
