1/2 bushel of tomatoes
8 sweet onions
6 Anahiem peppers
5-7 jalopeno peppers(depending on how hot you want it)
6 green peppers
2 large cans of tomatoe paste(the cans are aroun 15 ounces. I buy the hunts)
2 1/2 cups white vinegar
6 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
peel tomatoes. Chop onions, peppers, and tomatoes put all the ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a rolling boil. Let simmer 3-4 hours until desired thickness then put in bottles. Makes about 25 pints.
Because I don't have a big enough pot to do a whole batch I usuall just do half batches. Let me know if you have any questions. I know the recipe seems vauge. I learned how to do it my visiting teaching partner.
