WD Tortilla Casserole (Sharon Cottrell)


1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
salt & pepper
1 Tbs chili powder
1 cup tomato sauce (8oz can)
6 tortillas, buttered
1 cup olives, chopped
1 1/2 cup cheese, grated
1 cup water

Brown meat and onions; add seasonings and tomato sauce. Alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce, olives and cheese in casserole. Add water. Cover and bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

Make 6 servings

(Substitution: ground turkey, 1/2 a purple onion)
