Fantasy Fudge (Aubry Shaw)

3 cups sugar
3/4 cups margarine
2/3 cup canned milk (or one small can)
1 12 oz pkg Nestle chocolate chips
7 oz of Kraft marshmallow creme
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts (optional)

Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy large pan. Bring to full rolling boil. Stirring constantly. Continue boiling for 5 minutes of medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees. Remove from heat, stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla and nuts. Beat until well blended. Pour into a butter 13x9 pan. Cool at room temp.
